Quick Guide to deactivate DND (Do Not Disturb)

  1. Keep your phones on and in areas of good telephone network reception.

  2. The Do Not Disturb (DND) service allows mobile phone users to opt-out of receiving promotional messages for 3rd Party services. The messages about the elections may be classified as promotional messages, which may block delivery of the critical election information.

    To disable DND in order to receive the SMS containing your secure link to vote.

    Please Note:

    Attempt disabling DND even if you are not aware of ever activating it, because it may have been activated by your Mobile Network Operator on your behalf.

  3. Check your phones for messages regularly
  4. Take care not to rush into deleting SMS messages on election day with the mindset that it might be unsolicited messages. Please read all messages on election day carefully.
  5. We are using multiple SMS broadcast providers to help improve the deliverability of SMS.
 
Emails
  1. 1. Ensure to check your Inbox after the election kick-off regularly.
  2. Ensure to also check your ‘spam’ and ‘promotions’ folders as well as election notifications are broadcast emails and are treated differently depending on your email provider and preferences.
  3. Read all emails on election day carefully
